Currently our membership is 39.
The flying field is located on the grounds of the picturesque Back Rhodes Ranch in
Etowah, NC. We are in the mountains of Western North Carolina; WNC. Our
neighbors are Asheville, Hendersonville, Brevard and Pisgah Forest.
Hendersonville is the location the annual Apple Festival.
Our field is grass and the runway is approximately 400 feet long by 140 feet wide.
There is plenty of fly over space. The field can accommodate IMAA size models
with no problems. AMA membership is required to fly. We'd like for you to be a part
of our flying corps.
Primitive camping is available to members and their guests.
"It is the intent of this club to safely indulge in radio controlled flight. The club will
promote camaraderie with other modelers with special emphasis on club
members. We will educate the general public on the wonderful hobby of radio
controlled aircraft and teach the new how to fly safely."

If you need access to this area, email or call us, you will need a member to be with
you to access the farm. The electric security gate has been installed. The code is
available on the members only page.
